Unified model calculations for the N = 83 nuclei

Abstract 

Level schemes of the N = 83 nuclei 137Xe, 139Ba, 141Ce and 143Nd are obtained in a unified model calculation. Spectroscopic factors for (d, p) reactions are calculated and compared with experimental data. Magnetic dipole and electric quadrupole moments of the ground state are calculated. Some (M1 + E2) transition rates are discussed in 141Ce.
